Canon Ixus 300 HS

Canon just released a new model for the Ixus line, the 300 HS. This new camera uses the "HS system" for better quality for both still and moving shots. My eyes light up when I saw its features:

  • Revolutionary “HS SYSTEM”, reducing image noises dramatically
  • 10-megapixel High Sensitivity CMOS (Back-illuminated) image sensor

  • 3-inch 230,000-dot 16:9 PureColor II G wide LCD
  • High Definition 1280 x 720 movie shooting with optical zoom and stereo sound
  • New continuous High-speed Burst mode, capturing approx. 8.4 Frames per second
  • New Super Slow Motion Movie mode, shooting at 240 frame per second
  • Aperture priority(Av) and shutter priority(Tv) exposure shooting mode
  • Fish-eye and Miniature Effect
  • Smart Shutter, with Face, Smile and Wink Self-Timer
  • Enhanced Scene Detection technology, with Smart Flash Exposure for precise exposure
