Cockroach killar.

Today, I finished cleaning the house. After 30 minutes invasion started. Primed the whole house with insecticide at least 6 hours. After that, gathered my preys and stacked them in a grocery bag full. Stupid cockroaches; they served their purpose. Btw, I got 1 fly and 1 flying ant as a bonus. WHAT A DAY. Now, I need to refill our insecticide.

Bitten

2 days ago I was bitten by fire ants. It itched like hell yesterday and last night. I washed it with soap a couple of times and applied lotion as frequently possible.

This picture is the one taken today. It doesn't itch that much anymore. The bumps are less bumpy and the redness is not that red. Thank goodness!

Pad craze

After weeks of the release of Apple's iPad, similar products emerge to compete in the market. These new products were created by MSI and Asus. You can see the similarities in their pictures below:

They are a little bigger than a regular picture frame and they are all touch screens. The differences that they hold are their operating systems, sensitivity, features, weight, memory and response time. The best Pad will be decided by user experience which is where Apple gets ahead of the others. It's just my thought so if ever you're planning to buy a Pad, I suggest that you try it personally. Saves you from regret in the end.

Acer 4937G quality issue

This laptop can really wow you with its specs. I've had my own since last year and this laptop failed me twice already. I have no problems with the display, the ports, dvd drive, keyboard and sounds. The problem is that it's HDD failed twice already. Just last night I was browsing the internet, the HDD is undetectable even when I entered the BIOS. It's a big hassle since if the problem won't fix itself then I have to reformat and start the setups all over again! It's a good thing a miracle happened last night. Not sure what happened but the problem was gone but the speed is definitely poorer. I may need to run some scandisks and defrags.. (or get a new one) not sure.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Watched this movie earlier today and I must say that this movie rocks! It's action-packed and the story is good! I wasn't able to get my eyes off the movie since the very start. My heart pounded like I was part of it during the action scenes. It was definitely worth paying for! Hope more movies produced like this one. Recommended film!

NBA 2010 Season - Lakers vs Suns 4-2

It's final and Lakers won. Good effort from the team and did I mention Artest again? He's definitely getting some attention from steals, three pointers and game winners. He's a good asset for the team. Like the last season, it will be Lakers and Celtics to battle for the championship once again. With the addition of new players from both teams who will win this time? Can't wait!!!

Unforgotten Heroes

I just watched World War II lost films in History channel, amazed by the fact that Cebuanos played a very important role in the success of the battle of the Pacific and Leyte Gulf. These people retrieved very vital intelligence papers that contained Japanese naval strategy to oppose American power in the Pacific. These papers were given to Gen. McArthur who lead the American naval fleet and destroyed most key Jap ships. In the time, the one who controls the Pacific wins the war. Who knows what could have happened if these papers were not found.

Shrek Forever After

I watched the Shrek movie yesterday night with some of my friends and I have to say that it's pretty like its predecessors. The movie is full of laughs and romance(between Shrek and Fiona). It is a great movie all in all and I would recommend this movie to others.

Too bad.. Magic wasn't able to beat Celtics. It would have been a nice match to see if Magic went into the finals! Oh nevermind, there will be a next season anyway.

Who would have thought that Ron Artest would give the Lakers a buzzer beater!? Considering that he shot a 3-point shot nearing the last minute when both teams were neck-to-neck. I was thinking that he'd be the reason, if their team loses. But then it seemed like a miracle when he came out of nowhere during the last few seconds and was able to make the shot! He definitely took the spotlight when no one was expecting - It was crazy!

Worksick

After almost three months of staying home (no pay but all my needs are free) it must be time to be back to the corporate world. I am getting older everyday but I don't feel any wiser. Aside from that, no tasty food trips, no new gadgets, no outside trips. These having said(or typed), I need to go back and work... again. Off to jobhunting! ..or jobs come to me!
